Centennial Conferences’ Editorial Management team (EM) has developed deep expertise in editorial management over our years of managing a variety of scientific conferences. We offer this service as part of an overall management package as well as a stand-alone project in whatever capacity you may need.

We can come in at the beginning, guiding and working closely with conference personnel and volunteers to ensure seamless, stress-less flow from the call for abstracts to the final published papers. Or we can jump at any time throughout the editorial process to make sure that all important milestones are met. Centennial has provided customized editorial management services since 2000 for leading scientific conferences and we can handle it for yours as well.


We offer any or all of the following services to facilitate smooth execution of the editorial process:
Program committee liaison. Data tracking/collection is important. The EM team will work with your program committee to establish requirements that are unique to your conference as it relates to publishing, tracking presentation data, and setup your data for a clean transfer to the paper submission site.

Publisher liaison. Relationships matter. The EM team has worked with and established rapport with a number of the major publishers such as IEEE, AIP and IOP. Our experience is at your service to expedite this connection.

Submission site setup. The EM team will facilitate identifying an interface that your authors, editors and reviewers will find easy to use and that flows seamlessly into the next step of the publishing process. 

Author templates and submission assistance. Questions pop up and sometimes authors just need assurances. The EM team has addressed these issues many times before and has developed tools to help authors get their papers submitted on time and in the correct format.


On-site staffing. We can provide our skilled staff to handle all steps of the editorial process on-site at your conference.


Off-site management. An option often overlooked for conferences with tight budgets is the possibility for the EM team to prepare your staff to facilitate limited author support on-site and then complete the next steps for you post-conference.

Peer review guidelines. The EM team has developed an effective method for handling peer reviews over many years and can put this to work to assist your reviewers and editors all along the way.

Reviewer and editor assistance. We have worked with hundreds of reviewers and editors and can guide them in the best way possible to handle each step in the editorial process.
 
Reporting. The EM team will develop a surefire custom-built reporting process that keeps your key users in the loop of what has been and what will still need to be done. We are masters of trouble-shooting and damage control and address concerns before they become problematic.

We know that selecting the proper destination and venue for your next meeting may be the most important aspect of providing great oversight in your role as conference chair. Due diligence and reasonable care must be taken when completing the site selection process and it is for this reason Centennial Conferences is delighted to handle the site selection process as a separate project or manage your entire conference, start to finish. It is just that important!

The site selection process begins with a consultation with you in order that we clearly understand your meeting goals and objectives. 

Centennial Conferences will conduct the research and present you with complete data pertaining to available sites, room night and meeting/exhibit space availability and all other established criteria. We will accompany you to visit the sites under consideration, assist you in developing additional criteria and offer valuable recommendations based on our extensive site selection experience. We will work closely with you and your suppliers to negotiate mutually beneficial contracts based on your unique requirements.

We provide efficient and cost effective management of exhibitions that are typically held in tandem with scientific conferences. Exhibitions managed range from 20 to 80+ booths.
